I ordered one bottle from 365 whole foods and one bottle from trader joes. The 365 bottle offered no resistance when I opened the safety cap and had dried stevia on the bottle top as shown in the pic, which (in my experience) only happens after the bottled is opened. The trader joe bottle had the safety cap intact and looked good with no dried stevia on bottle top, as shown in the pic.

I’ve purchased several items sweetened with Stevia and they all had a bitter aftertaste. So I decided to get this product and similarly initial sweetness followed by a bitter aftertaste. I’ve tried monk fruit extract which was sweeter with a prolonged sweet aftertaste.
Taste is different in us all. My girlfriend tried this Stevia extract and while she tasted a “kind of sweet taste followed by a weird aftertaste “ but not bitter. Go figure. She too much preferred the monk fruit concentrate.
I hope those that enjoy this sweetener continue their enjoyment but this was a confirmation that I’d only use Stevia under certain conditions including if I ran out of something more to my tastes.

My doctor wants me to reduce my sugar intake. And this is the BEST way I have found to cut down on sugar. It has absolutely no bitter aftertaste, and you only need a few drops to do the trick. I use 3-4 drops to sweeten my coffee and hot chocolate (I like them very sweet). I like to cook and create healthy recipes, so I use it in all these homemade dishes. Finally, it’s a bargain cost-wise, since a little goes a LONG ways!
