Hey stevia friends! Jen from BestSteviaSweetener.com back with an interesting review. Today, we’re looking at JUAL’s Stevia Liquid Sweetener, which makes some bold claims about being natural while hiding some surprising ingredients in the fine print. At $10.50 for 4.22 oz, let’s see what we’re really getting.
First Impressions
The packaging caught my attention immediately with its prominent “100% LIQUID SWEETENER” claim, though the nutrition label tells a different story. The plastic bottle is functional but basic, with a standard squeeze cap. What really stood out was the surprisingly large serving size – 1/2 teaspoon (5ml) – suggesting a much more diluted formula than most stevia drops.
What Makes It Different
Despite marketing claims of being “Chemical & Preservative Free,” the ingredient list reveals:
- Water
- Stevia Leaf Extract
- Sucralose
- Citric Acid
- Sodium Benzoate & Potassium Sorbate (preservatives)
This contradiction between marketing and reality sets an interesting tone for our testing.
Real-World Testing
My morning coffee ritual quickly revealed JUAL’s character. The large serving size means you’re using more product per serving than with concentrated stevia drops. The taste is sweet and clean – thanks to the sucralose – but not what I’d expect from a “pure stevia” product.
Cold beverages showed similar results. The sweetener dissolves easily and provides consistent sweetness, though at the cost of using significantly more product. The addition of sucralose means there’s virtually no bitter aftertaste, but it also means this isn’t really a pure stevia product.
In baking and cooking, the diluted formula means you need substantial amounts to achieve desired sweetness. This quickly becomes impractical given the small bottle size and limited 25 servings.
Value Analysis
At $10.50 for just 25 servings, we’re looking at 42 cents per serving – significantly higher than most competitors. The addition of sucralose helps achieve a familiar sweetness profile, but at the cost of both natural purity and economic value.
Final Verdict: 5.5/10
JUAL Stevia Liquid falls short of its natural marketing claims while charging a premium price for a diluted product. While it might appeal to those transitioning from artificial sweeteners, there are better options available for both value and purity.
Tips for Success
For those who do choose this product:
- Expect to use more per serving than concentrated stevia
- Store at room temperature
- Use within 3 months of opening
- Best for simple beverage sweetening
- Consider more concentrated alternatives for baking
Until next time, keep it sweet and honest!

Can’t taste anything, my family can’t either
Good stevia, I’m not a fan of doing drops
By REJ, in the United States on November 3, 2024
The stevia is good quality. I have not experienced any milkiness or thick clumping, as in some liquid stevia products I’ve gotten other places.
The product is in a plastic bottle, so not good for our planet. But other than that, I’m pleased with this product.
Ingredients listed incorrect. Ingredients on bottle & online don’t agree.

the bottle lists Splenda as an ingredient but online this isn’t listed.

How it’s good with competitors
When it comes to liquid sweeteners, marketing claims often need careful scrutiny. I’ve tested numerous stevia products over the years, and I want to share my experiences comparing JUAL’s hybrid approach with two popular alternatives: Stevia in the Raw and Enzo. Each brand represents a different philosophy in stevia sweetening, but JUAL’s addition of sucralose creates an interesting twist in the natural sweetener narrative.
Let’s examine how JUAL performs in real-world use. I’ll break down the key differences in formulation, taste, and value. Their claim of being “chemical & preservative free” while containing sucralose and preservatives creates some interesting contradictions to explore. After extensive testing in everything from morning coffee to baking projects, I’ve discovered where this budget blend truly stands.
JUAL Stevia vs Stevia in the Raw:
Comparing these brands reveals differing approaches to achieving sweetness. While Stevia in the Raw uses dextrose as a bulking agent, JUAL opts for a liquid blend with sucralose. The serving size (1/2 teaspoon) suggests a diluted formula compared to more concentrated alternatives. JUAL’s addition of sucralose provides a familiar sweetness profile, but contradicts their natural marketing claims. Cost per serving significantly favors Stevia in the Raw, making JUAL’s premium pricing hard to justify.
JUAL Stevia vs Enzo:
This comparison highlights stark differences in philosophy. Enzo’s commitment to pure stevia extract contrasts sharply with JUAL’s hybrid approach. While JUAL markets their product as natural and chemical-free, their inclusion of sucralose and preservatives stands at odds with Enzo’s purity focus. Though JUAL may offer an easier transition for those used to artificial sweeteners, Enzo provides better value and ingredient transparency for stevia purists.
